The value for money at this hotel was excellent, and the room was spacious, clean, and modern. The location was peaceful and convenient, with easy access to Sigiriya Rock and other attractions. The staff treated us like family and were extremely helpful and accommodating.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a greater variety of options.

The location of the hotel is peaceful and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Guests have mentioned that they could only hear the sounds of nature at night, which creates a serene atmosphere for a good night's sleep. the rooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfast and dinner served at the hotel are delicious and authentic. the staff is friendly and helpful, providing outstanding service and assisting guests in organizing trips and safaris.
One aspect to be aware of is that the hotel is situated near a train station, so guests who are light sleepers might want to bring earplugs to avoid disturbances from passing trains during the night.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they made me feel right at home. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with everything looking new and well-maintained. The peaceful atmosphere and the sounds of nature added to the overall serenity of the place. The food served, especially the homemade Sri Lankan dishes, was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend having dinner here. The location, although a bit far from the city, provided a private and tranquil experience. this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, hotel facilities, staff, and authentic Sri Lankan food.
All was perfect.

The room at Bissa Villa was amazing! I loved having my own private bathroom with a hot shower, it was so soothing after a long day of exploring. The cozy seating area and private entrance made me feel right at home. The room had a nice tile/marble floor that added a touch of elegance. Plus, having an electric kettle in the room was really convenient for making hot drinks whenever I wanted. And the balcony offered a great view to unwind and enjoy a cup of tea. the room had a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that made me feel relaxed and at ease.
Personally, I didn't like that the triple room had a private entrance. I prefer being closer to the main entrance and common areas, as it adds to the lively atmosphere of a hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at Bissa Villa in Habarana. the villa was perfect for our family, with a great pool to keep our young daughter entertained. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning and WiFi worked well. the hosts were lovely and the breakfast and dinner were superb, offering a mix of Sri Lankan and western options. the location was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions like Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, and Dambulla. We highly recommend Bissa Villa as a budget-friendly alternative to the luxury hotels in the area. Cons: Everything is exactly as we needed and wanted! 🌟.

The mosquito net really added some excitement to my sleep and the free private parking was an absolute thrill. The on-site restaurant served breakfast, I mean, who doesn't enjoy eating in a restaurant?
Oh, how I loved the experience of sharing my room with mosquitoes. It was like having my very own buzzing orchestra serenading me all night long.

Lovely stay amidst nature with delicious local meals for breakfast and dinner. The garden and pool were a perfect spot to relax after sightseeing or safari. Clean rooms with good air conditioning. The owners were friendly and helped organize transportation and safari for us.
Some noise from passing trains, but wasn't too bothersome. Food prices were a bit high.
